Clarity: Clear main lake. Creeks are slightly stained as you work towards the back. Upper river arms are stained to muddy with recent rains.
Lake Level: 1066.02 (4.98ft below full pool)
Weather Trend – Straight to April weather with highs in the high 70’s by mid-week with low 60’s for lows. This is crazy! We will roll right through the 50’s for water temperatures and go straight to the 60’s by weeks end.
What’s Working Right Now
Put away the downlines and concentrate on boards and flat lines around birds and bait with herring, small trough or large shiners. This could be out in 90 feet of water all the way to the bank. Don’t be afraid to pull some big (8-12”) gizzards as we are seeing a lot more high teens and low 20 pound fish.
