March 30, 2026 Weekly Lake Lanier Striper Fishing Conditions

Water Temp: 60-63

Clarity: Clear main lake. Creeks are slightly stained as you work towards the back. River arms are clearing up nicely with no rain this past week.

Lake Level: 1065.99 (5.01ft below full pool)

Weather Trend – It will be a warm spring week that will be mostly cloudy and rainy towards the middle and end of the week.  This might get us a couple of degrees of water temp but probably not much.

What’s Working Right Now

Prespawn fish are still roaming around in open waters areas with bait concentrations.  This should change soon and they will be heading to the backs of major creeks and the river arms looking for love.  The river bite slowed some with the water temp plummet from a couple of weeks ago.  We hit 62 degrees and went back to 56 degrees in 2 days.  Temps have taken two weeks to get back to the 60 degree mark.
