Weather Trend – This week will be a repeat of last week.  It’s going to be a nice spring week with normal temperatures and some better chances of rain the middle of this week.  I’ll believe it when I see it.  We need rain bad.

What’s Working Right Now

Shad spawn is in full force.  This time of year the birds are your friends.  Maybe not gulls, but the great blue herons are absolutely your buddies.  They will be on rocky points, seawalls and bluffs showing you where the shad are.  Pull these areas with planer boards and freelines.  The downlines still get a nod off the front rod holders at 20-30’ down as you pull by these points.
