Water Temp: 54-57
Clarity: Clear main lake. Creeks are more stained as you work towards the back. With the recent storms, upper river arms are muddy and there is lots of trash so be careful running up the rivers.
Lake Level: 1066.16 (4.84ft below full pool)
Weather Trend – We stay with late spring temps the first of the week and then we have normal temps for early March for the end of the week.
What’s Working Right Now
The planer board and flat line bite is the ticket right now. Lots of birds showing off the active fish that are the easiest to catch. Small baits (medium shiners and tiny herring) is what you should pull. A #4 Gamakatsu Octopus Hook is all you need on the end of your 4 foot, 12# Tatsu leader. Still a great chance for a big fish with big baits on points and humps towards the back of the creeks.
